Why Choose Our Fitness Classes in Liverpool?

Most fitness classes in Liverpool follow the same predictable formula — large groups, generic programming, and an instructor counting reps at the front of the room.

Our fitness classes are different.

Every session is small enough that the coach can actually see every member, give real-time feedback, and adapt the work to your individual ability. Every programme is built progressively, so each week builds on the last rather than starting from scratch.

Whether you've trained for years or never set foot in a gym, the coaching environment is designed to support you exactly where you are.

Types of Fitness Classes We Offer in Liverpool

We run several types of coached fitness classes at our facility in Speke, South Liverpool — each designed for different goals and ability levels.

Kettlebell Classes

Our most popular class. Kettlebell training delivers strength, cardiovascular conditioning, and mobility work in a single 45-minute session — making it one of the most time-efficient ways to train.

Strength & Conditioning Classes

Coached strength and conditioning sessions for people who want to build genuine strength rather than just sweat through a workout. Compound movements, progressive loading, expert technique coaching throughout.

Small Group Personal Training

The midpoint between 1-to-1 personal training and a standard group class. Small group PT sessions deliver individualised coaching at a lower cost per session than 1-to-1 training.

Who Are These Fitness Classes For?

Our fitness classes in Liverpool are ideal for:

  • Complete beginners who want to learn correctly from the start

  • People returning to exercise after a long break or injury

  • Busy professionals who want efficient training that fits around work

  • Anyone bored of standard gym routines and wanting something more engaging

  • Existing gym-goers who want proper coaching to break through plateaus

  • People who train better in a group environment than training alone

You do not need to be fit to start. You do not need previous training experience. The classes are designed to scale up or down based on your ability — you train at the right level for you, not at the level of the most experienced person in the room.

Where Are the Classes Based?

Classes are held at Raise The Bar Gym, Unit 37 Compass West Industrial Park, Speke, Liverpool L24 1YA.

The location is easy to reach from across South Liverpool, with parking available on site. It is well placed for anyone travelling from Hunts Cross, Halewood, Garston, Woolton, Aigburth, Allerton, and Childwall.

What Happens in a Fitness Class?

Every session follows a structured format designed to build progress over time, not just leave you exhausted.

A typical class includes:

  • A coached warm-up and mobility work

  • Skill or technique coaching on one or two specific movements

  • The main strength and conditioning training block

  • A structured cool-down with stretching and recovery work

Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes in total. The pace is appropriate for your level, not for the most advanced person in the group.
